Alexandra is keen to analyze, develop and promote alternative sustainable lifestyles especially for urban contexts and to enable these lifestyles through multi-stakeholder cooperation.
She has a background in international development cooperation and is since 2013 working as a project coordinator at the CSCP - Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production in Wuppertal, Germany. As a research fellow she is currently working on the topic "Upscaling strategies for the urban sharing society".
Alexandra’s work is based on the belief that active civil societies are crucial to bring about change and are an important driver for societal, political and sustainable development. She is also personally committed to local grass root initiatives, such as Urban Gardening and Transition Town.
