I'm focused on distributed supply chains, P2P manufacturing and on the research of integration strategies between advanced industrial systems, SMEs and local production communities.
I'm the director of Makers Modena Fab Lab and Fab Lab Terre di Castelli, working on the development of the community, coordinating activities among areas and curating strategic key projects with institutions and enterprises.
I've been Senior Technology Transfer at Democenter-Sipe Foundation (first level public/private institution in Emilia-Romagna Region aimed to valorize academic research results within local enterprises), working on the development of integration strategies between the world of manufacturing, open innovation and makers.
I'm in charge as scientific curator of Fab2B, a project developed by Slowd for ASTER (the consortium among the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government, Universities, National Research Centers and the Regional Union of Chambers of Commerce), aimed to investigate new business models for fab labs and local peer-production communities.
I've been contract professor at NABA (2014, 2015), New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, as of Marketing and Management class, second year of Product Design curriculum; his course was focus on the development business modeling skills of design professionals.
I've been Member of the Services Design Commission at ADI (Italian Association for Industrial Design).
I holds a Master in Architectural Sciences after Environmental Engineering studies and informal training in economics and innovation management.
I'm often speaker in events about design, manufacturing, making and social innovation.
