There are many new digital tools today that make it easier for organizations to work in a collaborative, distributed and remote way. But tech tools alone don't magically solve problems. In this session practitioners from next generation organizations such as
Enspiral, OuiShare, Socialfokus, Amanitas and
Encode will share insights on how human and digital tools can be used effectively for new ways of organizing. Drawing from global experiments, they will discuss commons challenges and show how these experiences can be applied to any type of organization or team.
Some questions that will be addressed: How to balance enabling participation and agency of employees or community members while staying agile and focused? What does onboarding look like in organizations that are partially or fully open? How do you deal with “tool fatigue”? How to work in distributed teams, from multiple cultures? How do you ensure new organizational models fullfill legal and administrative requirements?
This session has two parts:
- Panel discussion and Q&A with the speakers (30-45 min)
- Interactive workshop, where you will discuss how to apply these tools to your organization(45 min)
