Paola Tubaro

CNRS
Senior Research Scientist
France
I am a senior researcher at CNRS, Paris, France. I study social networks and how they shape markets, organisations, consumer choice and health. Beyond computer-based social networks, I use survey methods to capture face-to-face relationships and capture the multiple channels through which networks link us as individuals and groups. I have published my research in international scientific journals such as Social Networks and Network Science, and I teach the sociology of social networks at ENS in Paris.
At OuiShare Fest 2017, I will share insight from my research experience in a workshop on "Happy people are connected people" that I will co-lead with Miriam Notten (5 July, 3pm). If you attend, we'll help you transform key network science findings into an activity plan to achieve your personal and business goals by leveraging your personal network.
At OuiShare Fest 2017, I will also run a survey, looking at how participants network and how this fosters the emergence of new trends and topics within the collaborative economy community. If you are taking part, AND you have been to at least one other OuiShare Fest before, please talk to a member of our team (recognizable by red t-shirts). We will ask you a few questions - it won't take more than 7-10 minutes to complete the interview. Highlights from the results, in anonymised form, will be published in the OuiShare Magazine.
