Maria Augusta Bueno is an architect and urban designer with a passion for bottom up and collaborative urbanism. She founded São Paulo Lab in 2015 aiming at fostering open source civic innovation to tackle the urban challenges that citizens from big cities like São Paulo face in their everyday lives. They stimulate learn by doing processes to engage people and promote a more active citizenship. Their motto? Do it yourself or do it with others, getting our hands dirty for the common good is above all a lot of fun!
